We could say that symbols speak louder than words. The logo of the Basque Country University is my favourite one. That is the reason why I would like to explain you the meaning of the logo of the Basque Country University

Irudiaz gain, honek ba du esaldi bat goiko aldean esanez:"Eman ta zabal zazu". Ikur honetan gure Unibertistate Publikoan dauden  ideiak argi ikus ditzakegu.

Este espíritu de apertura es el eje sobre el que giran los objetivos para los próximos años según se desprende de los datos de la estrategia de internacionalización de la UPV/EHU que el  pasado 1 de julio, presentó la rectora de la entidad, Nekane Balluerka.

Los datos son interesantes y hablan de una mayor apertura.Así, el alumnado internacional se ha incrementado este año en un 27% y la movilidad internacional ha subido un 17%.De los proyectos avalados por la universidad, destacamos en especial el Research Centre for Experimental Marine Biology & Biotechnology en Plentzia. La rectora señaló también entre otros objetivos prioritarios, la consolidación de la colaboración con la Universidad de Burdeos para reforzar el Campus Eurorregional de Excelencia Internacional.

BILBAO, HERE COMES THE SUMMER

The long winter has gone and we are prepared for the sun and nice weather in Bilbao

I think music is the best way to celebrate  that the summer is here. That is why yesterday organized by La Sociedad Bilbaina there was a nice concert in Bilbao. Songs of Bob Dylan and other well known singers were offered by the music group "3Devils"to all of us.

You could tell that summer is a season and of course, it is!. But in my opinion is a kind of being, a way of thinking and a way of feeling as well. I would say that it is our choices that show what we truly are far more than our abilities. You choose!

By the way, I will tell you that in 2012 Bob Dylan was playing billar in La Sociedad Bilbaina and here you are the photograph was taken here and which appeared in the Rolling Stone Magazine
